Mercedes Benz Biome concept left show-goers awe struck with its bionic design and glowing wheels. Mercedes presented the 4020mm long, 2500mm wide concept which boasts a diamond-shaped seating arrangement with the driver in the middle up front, two passengers slightly further back on either side and a fourth passenger in the middle at the back.
Lamborghini Gallardo |
Lamborghini showed off a hardcore version of the Gallardo Spyder which Lambo like to call, Gallardo LP 570-4 Spyder Performante. It is 65kg lighter than the standard car and is powered by a 562 bhp 5.2 litre V10 and does 0-60mph in 3.9 sec and a top speed of 201 mph.

Mercedes CLS63 AMG with a 5.5 litre twin turbo V8 which kicks out 518bhp and a top speed of 186 mph. Now thats a sports saloon to watch out for!
Porsche Cayman R |
Porsche came to Los Angeles with a stripped out Cayman. The new car dubbed, Cayman R is lighter and faster than the Cayman S and is available with a Cayman Aerokit.
Mazda Sinari |
Mazda Shinari concept gives a glimpse of Mazda’s new design language. The new language is called Kodo, which means ‘soul of motion’ and replaces the Nagare language.
Chevrolet Camaro Convertible made headlines at the Chevrolet stands which is available with the same engine as the Coupe. A 308 bhp V6 or the SS with a 6.2 litre V8 and 420bhp is what you can have with an option of a six speed automatic transmission.

The Fiat Cinquecento goes to the States for the first time in 50 years. US-Spec Fiat 500 was launched at the L.A.Auto Show and will be sold in three trim levels and will be powered by a 100bhp, Fiat 1.4-litre MultiAir petrol engine.

Cadillac revealed its Urban Luxury Concept which features a 1.0-litre, three cylinder engine with stop-start and “electric assist technology” and does 78 mpg.

Nissan’s Murano CrossCabriolet is according to the company, “the world’s first all-wheel-drive crossover convertible”
Land Rover Evoque |
Land Rover showcased a five-door version of the Evoque which actually similar to the three-door except for the additional doors and increased height. The five-door Evoque gets the same engine line-up as the three-door (148bhp or 187bhp 2.2-litre turbodiesels and a 237bhp 2.0 petrol turbo) and is available in both two and four-wheel drive.

Subaru came up with the Impreza Concept but the company refrained from disclosing the powertrain and much of the details about the car.
Ford Focus |
Ford unveiled the Focus Race Car Concept, powered by Ford’s tuned turbocharged 2.0 litre Ecoboost engine. The car comes with AST coil-over adjustable dampers, anti-roll bars from Ford Racing with adjustable drop links, anthracite 18-inch wheels with Hoosier race tires and better brakes. The car is set to make its debut run at the 2011 BTCC, also appearing at the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring in Germany.
Honda Fit EV |
Honda had the Fit EV concept on display (read) Jazz. A lithium-ion battery pack powers a coaxial electric motor to give the Fit EV a range of up to 100-miles. The car also has three distinct driving modes: eco, normal and sport. In eco mode, the range can be boosted by up to 25 per cent over when it is in sport mode. In sport mode, Honda claims its performance is similar to that of a car with a 2.0-litre petrol engine.
