Volvo Cars: New Volvo SUV Launched by The Swedish Luxury Car Maker

Volvo XC60

The Indian vehicles market has recently welcomed a brand new luxury car. The novelty has been brought by the Swedish luxury automaker that decided to revival its Indian division. Competing with other giants in this business, Volvo Car Corp. designed a cutting-edge volvo SUV, called XC60. The new Volvo is expected to hit the luxury division of the Indian market as India and the Asian region in general seem to follow an ascending trend as for luxury car division.

As per Volvo Auto India officials, the prospects related to the official release of the latest Volvo SUV are quite encouraging due to the fact that bookings for new Volvo cars indicate the Swedish vehicle is on top of car requests.

So far, the bookings for the XC60 Volvo SUV seem to have surpassed the sale figures of their rivals for 2010. The new Volvo is expected to act like a tough competitor for other SUV models launched by Mitsubishi (Montero), Land Rover (Freelander II), BMW (X3) or Audi (Q5).

Despite its relatively new presence on the Indian market since the first months of 2008, Volvo has directly targeted the top position challenging even the most fearful rivals. Volvo’s new plan regarding the Indian market is pretty impressive and the officials are confident the new Volvo will have a spectacular impact. Volvo XC60 is manufactured in Belgium, and India will import it as CBU (completely built units). Two different Volvo cars (the same luxury division) are already on sale in India (SUV XC90 and sedan Volvo S80).
